Inspired Stamps Box Card

Today's Inspired Stamp Design Team assignment was "summer".  I think I captured that pretty well with my 1st attempt at a box card. I used several great stamp sets including: Hymn: Birds and Trees, Flower Value Set, Hymn: Earth and Weather, and Psalm 118:24. Be sure to stop by the blog and see the rest of the team's great cards.

For the box card base, I cut it on my Explore, using the FREE Cricut Explore file from The Non-Crafty Scrapper.

Operation Write Home Blog Hop

I am celebrating Memorial Day by joining in the Operation Write Home BlogHop.  You can click on the logo above to be taken to all the wonderful blog links.  I made a "To Any Hero" card.  When you donate a card to OWH and send it in for any serviceman, be sure to  include a handwritten note of gratitude inside.
I used Stamps from Inspired Stamps that I thought fit perfectly for Memorial Day.  They are the 2x2 single
Scripture Stamp 1 Cor. 15:57 and the Hymn Girl: Armor of God. And the great news is all stamps are on sale at Inspired Stamps!

New Inspired Stamp Releases!

I love new stamp releases! It's so much fun to have new stamps to create with.  Inspired Stamps has new 2x2 scripture stamps and more today.  I am sharing the new single scripture stamp- Romans 5:1. I also included the June Hymn Girl and a wing from Hymn: Wings and Feathers.

Be sure to take a look at all the other new stamps used by the Design Team at the IS Blog.

Graduation Rosettes w/Cricut Explore

My crafty friend Colleen at Col's Creative Corner posted an adorable centerpiece and tutorial using rosettes for NSD and then challenged others to post a rosette project for a chance at a prize. Thank you Colleen for doing that because it kicked my rear into gear to start on the decor for my youngest son's HS graduation party next month.

This is the result-4 fairly large rosettes to hang on the mantel..  They are shown hanging from my kitchen drawers so you can tell they aren't little.  I used my wonderful Cricut Explore to cut everything and it even scored the rosettes for me-what an amazing time saver.  I love rosettes but always hated scoring them so rarely made any.  The scoring stylus for the Explore made these easy peasy to do.  Can't wait to celebrate!

Scrapbook Page with Inspired Stamps

I have been making scrapbook pages like crazy to have for display at this little guy's high school graduation. Yes, my cute little rocker dude, the youngest of our 3 sons will soon be on his way in this world! I have kept the pages fairly simple and for this one I used 2 Inspired Stamps stamp sets.  For the title, I used the versatile Colorable Alphabet stamps. For a bit of texture, I used pop dots to pop up the "y' and "o".   I created my own background on the Bazzil Card stock with the bubble wrap stamp from the fun Background Stamps set.
