Inspired Stamps Christmas

It will be here before we know it!  Christmas, that is! Today at Inspired Stamps we are reminding you to start your stash of Christmas cards!  I pulled out one of my favorite stamps for the season-His Little Ones:Winter Boy.  He reminds me of my little guys when they were young.  The stars, sentiment and scripture are both from a stamp set I turn to often at Christmas- Blessed Little Christmas.

Inspired Stamps Character

Welcome to Inspired Stamps Tuesday!  Our assignment today was to show you a character and scripture stamp.  I chose the sweet His Little Ones: Thankful Girl stamp.  Dressed in her new Autumn outfit, she is quite the charming character indeed!

Surrounded by a patch of pumpkins from the Fall Gratitude stamp set, she is all ready for a photo shoot!  The beautiful corner ivy and great scripture inside (stamped on canvas) is from the same versatile set.  This particular card style is a new one to me and is called a "Z" fold.  When you lay it on its side, you can see where it gets its name.

As always, stop by www.inspiredstamps.blogspot.com to see the rest of the creativity!

Time to Sneak a Peek!

Woo Hoo!  It's Sneak Peak week at Inspired Stamps and we have some beautiful, new stamps to share with you!  I was given the new Thank You set to play with.  This is a fun, fun set with an adorable bird, button flowers, scriptures and so much more!  I created a sweet scene with several of the stamps on an easel card.

The tree was created with one of the stamps that looks like a branch.  I just stamped it several times at various lengths on the side of the card and then hand drew a trunk.  The grass was created by putting all of the stems that come with the set on one stamp block at various heights and positions and then stamping all across the bottom in 1st and 2nd generation stamping.  I also scattered a few sprigs of grass lightly all over the green base.

The only stamp not from the set is my "sun".  For it, I actually used a sunflower from the Flowers Stamp SetI think it made a cute sun in my Copic sky!  By the way, there is a change in the day I will be posting for Inspired Stamps.  TUESDAY, is my new regular day to post, so stop by next Tuesday for more goodness!

For more sneak peeks today, from Gaby and Leesa, check out the Inspired Stamps Blog. These stamps will be available in the Inspired Stamps store on Saturday at noon!

Stylin' with Inspired Stamps!

We are stylin' with Inspired Stamps this week.  Well, at least we are sharing "our" style with you! The Design Team has added 4 new members this week and in celebration of that event, we were all asked to share  our individual styles in a card.  I have to say my style must be "eclectic" because when I look through my creations I can't pick just one style.  I love 'em all!  Sometimes I go with whimsy and others shabby chic.  Some days I feel clean and simple and others I want to pack on the glam.

One thing I really try to be consistent with is creating the card to match the recipient's style.  Can you guess what type of person I had in mind when I created this wild card?  The answer is "a teenage girl"!  She loves purple and animal prints and sparkles!  The awesome stamps I used are from 1 Inch Flowers and  the Card Ministry Basic Set

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the Inspired Stamps Blog so you can see all the great creations and meet the new Design Team members!

Inspired Stamps Design Team Thursday

My Inspired Stamps card for you today is one I am sending to a family who lost their dear dog, "Bo", last week.  Now, I know there are some who believe God has more to think about than our pets but I believe God was "in the details" of this card and gave me the "push" to create it knowing I would have an opportunity to hopefully lift the spirits of this family.

Why? Because, I had no idea "Bo" was ill and didn't even know his name until after I made this card.  Only after I completed it for this post did I hear about his sudden passing and how saddened his family was (he was especially special to their pre-teen daughter and loved by their 8 yo son).  You can say what you want but I think God had me use a "B" (for "Bo") scrabble tile on the front and choose the sentiment inside just for them.

For this card I made a "Joy-fold" card.  Don't ask me why it's called that-I have no clue:).  Maybe because it brings joy to the recipient?  Any-hoo, this is what it looks like when opened:

For the sweet boy, I used the His Little Ones:Boy Praying stamp and the little pup is from God's Creatures Pets stamp set.  The inside sentiment is from Card Ministry Basic Set.  I hope you have a blessed week and thank you so much for stopping by!  Be sure and check the blogs of the other talented members of the Inspired Stamps Design Team!
