On this final day of July, we are actually enjoying much cooler temps than normal in Texas. Maybe not Christmas temps, but close enough! So, before we leave this unusually cool summer day for a hot August, I wanted to share a Christmas card using Inspired Stamps. The wisemen stamp is from the Vintage Christmas set and the scripture is from the Poinsettia stamp set.

Five months and counting down! Yes, I'm talking Christmas, people! The girls of Inspired Stamps are here to give you the inspiration to get a head start on your Christmas cards.
I used ONE stamp set to create 3 fun Christmas Chalkboard cards. The very versatile Snowmen Stamp Set comes with so many stamps-I didn't even use them all! Bonus-all the Christmas stamps are on sale today at Inspired Stamps!
I once again turned to the "sandwich board" style card and turned them into chalkboards by using chalkboard cardstock and white pigment ink.
Your next stop on the hop isJamie's fabulous creation.
It's Inspired Stamps time! It has been too hot here in the Lone Star State to do anything outside so I have taken time indoors to play around with new (to me) mixed media supplies. This card is the result of some of that play time. The scripture stamp is one of the versatile 2x2 stamps-Psalm 31:24.It is a scripture I often need!
As far as the fun stuff I played with, I used gesso and a stencil to create the honeycomb pattern on the tag and then I used the hymn background stamp from the Background Stamp Setto stamp over the tag after the gesso dried.
Be sure to join us next week for a Christmas in July bloghop!
The new releases for July will hit the Inspired Stamps store on Friday after noon and this 2x2 will be among them. This is a super versatile sentiment and will be great for inside or out on a card. It is called "Big Hug" and I know you will want it! I paired it with my fave Hymn Girl: June. I used 2 stacked pop dots to give her a lift and then gently turned her arms and hands in to give the illusion that she's reaching out with a big hug.
