Inspired Stamps 2x2 Single Scriptures

Today's post is not one of my typical projects.  This has not been a typical week! Our youngest son (of 3) graduated from high school on Saturday and we had a huge celebration with friends and family following the ceremony.  When planning the decor, I knew I wanted to incorporate scripture and of course, the simplest way to do that was to use the Inspired Stamps Single Scripture Stamps.

I used 3 different stamps to help decorate this printer's tray.  They are on the right in this photo-Micah 6:8, Ephesians 2:10 and Ephesians 6:11.  I wanted to create a display for his photos that also held meaning and I believe this did exactly what I wanted!

Inspired Stamps Fall Card

We are finally starting to experience "cooler" temps here in the Lone Star state and I'm so thankful!  This card states how we feel here when we can say goodbye to 90+ temps-AMAZING!

Good thing my assignment was a Fall card for Inspired Stamps! I started with the lovely lady from the retiring stamp, Abigail with Leaves. If you love her as well, you need to hurry to the online store and snatch her up!  I stamped several of the pumpkins from the Fall Gratitude set onto different shades of cardstock and then cut them out.

I used the same set for my inside sentiment.  I stamped the pumpkins over Washi tape for a subtle look.

Mixed Media with Inspired Stamps

I

Good  Saturday everyone! I had so much fun with this project! It really came together quickly and will now go in my kitchen as soon as we are done painting the walls.  If you have been visiting Inspired Stamps this month then you know we have been having a ball with Mixed Media projects.

I chose to alter a wooden frame I picked up at Michael's for less than $2.  I first sprayed it with cherry Color Shine from Heidi Swapp.  After a few minutes it was dry enough to stamp.

For the stamping, I used the hymn stamp from the Background Stamp Set and Memento ink.

For the ribbon, I used my favorite seam binding and sprayed it with the same spray as I used for the frame.  After spraying it, I used a paper towel to crumple it into a ball and then let it dry.  For the center of the frame,  I stamped a verse from the new stamp set Draw Near from Inspired Stamps.  I finished it off with washi tape, a fabric flower and some bling.
