Inspired Stamps 52 Weeks of Gratitude Week 17

Happy end of April and welcome to week 17 of Gratitude with Inspired Stamps!  Today is my dear mother's 86th birthday!  She has faced some considerable challenges this year due to a stroke she had in October and the subsequent mini strokes she continues to have but she continues to live out this scripture and gives praise to God for the life she has.  Come back tomorrow and I will share my thoughts on this scripture and my mom.

Today, I used 2 different stamps to create this pretty card.  For the base of the scripture, I used a stamp from the Tags Stamp Set and for the scripture I used a $3.99 single Scripture Stamp, Hebrews 13:15.

other supplies: Close to My Heart ink, paper and card stock.  Embellishments and ribbon from stash

52 Weeks of Gratitude Week 6

Thanks for joining me for the 6th week of Inspired Stamps 52 Weeks of Gratitude.
It seemed appropriate for me to create a "very Valentiney" card  for this week's scripture!  God is love and is the creator of romantic love. This scripture is His definition of love.   I used the 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 stamp in the heart cutout.  On the inside, I used a sentiment from the Thank You stamp set.  Have a Happy Valentine's Day!

Inspired Stamps 52 Weeks of Gratitude-Week 3

Can you believe we are in week 3 of our 52 Weeks of Gratitude and a new year?!  I hope you are enjoying the journey as much as I am.  This week's Inspired Stamps verse is Psalm 47:1

I decided to stray from my typical pinks, blues, purples for this card.  I really like the change as well!  I finished the card off with a non-typical "ribbon" as well.  This roll of gold fine netting was sitting out from Christmas wrapping still and I thought it really added the perfect finishing touch.

If you haven't joined in yet on the gratitude project, jump right in today and get started!  All the info is in this post at Inspired Stamps.

Simple Swing Card w/CTMH Artiste

There's a page in the Close To My Heart Artiste Cricut cartridge book that I was always skipping over because I just wasn't sure what  it was showing.  Then, I started seeing examples by other consultants of "swing cards" and discovered they were cutting them using the Artiste cartridge and THAT was the page they were using!  Thank goodness for those brave souls who tried those designs:)

This is one of several swing cards you can cut from page 52 of the Artiste book.  I plan to give this one to my hubby, so made it a bit "plain" and did not use traditional Valentine colors.  The papers are from the lovely Avonlea Paper Pack.  The stamp on front is of course called "Love" and is only $6.95.  The inside sentiment is from the Whooo's Your Valentine kit that is available for a limited time.  I used Saddle ink.

Dreamin' Layout with NEW CTMH Cricut Cart!

I have had my Cricut for about 4 years and have been a CTMH consultant for almost 2 years.  I've often thought how wonderful it would be to be able to combine CTMH's fabulous stamps with Cricut cuts that would fit those stamped images.  Well, I'm dreamin' no more!  As of August 1st, Close To My Heart will release the exclusive Art Philosophy  cartridge and stamp sets!

I have never been so excited for a Cricut OR CTMH release.  I received my order yesterday and have been playing with all the goodies every second I can.  This is my first project from the new collection but I promise there will be many more!

I began with the gorgeous new Dreamin' papers.  Another exciting addition to CTMH is that our new patterned papers are printed on a heavier weight paper than before.  Also, the price is lower on the patterned paper packs AND all of our stamps!  The papers cut beautifully in the Cricut.  Everything on the layour was cut with the new CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge, including the dimensional flowers!  After cutting the three banner pieces, I used the coordinating stamps to stamp the pieces with the border and words.  Since, I followed the guidelines on the stamp set, the images fit perfectly on the cutouts!

Be sure to click on the photo so you can see all the yummy details.  The "leaves" for the flowers are actually the pieces that were left after the large background "flower" was cut.  I also added a design to the background cardstock using the "star" stamp from the Art Philosophy stamps.

Are you ready to get your own Art Philosophy Set?  When you order it, you will receive the Cricut cartridge (it includes over 700 images and an alphabet), 3 coordinating large stamp sets and 3 sheets of coordinating chipboard shapes. All for $99.  Imagine all the gifts, home decor, cards and more you can make with this set!  You can pre-order by contacting me now or wait and order on August 1st from my website: https://belindak.myctmh.com.
